šŸ‘‹ Hi, I’m Deanna.
I’m a graphic designer and founder of The Playhouse, a coworking and networking community for founders, freelancers, and creatives.

How can virtual coworking grow your business and help with burnout?

Have I been walking towards burnout? Maybe.

But all I know is that I have a lot to do and a lot of things I want to do.

And I gotta grow my business because we rely on my income to keep our mortgage paid and groceries in the fridge.

So when you have too many THINGS to do and you still want to create connections in your business, what’s a lady to do?

Balancing too many things and still having to grow your business can suck the joy out of it all real friggin’ quick.

I think virtual coworking is the best of both worlds.

Growing your network and getting stuff done.

So this coworking platform Flown did some research on coworking, which I’m always a little skeptical of research from the people trying to sell you something.

It’s the old punk rocker that lives inside me (while on the outside I drive a mini-van to soccer practice) but I digress.

The coworking stats that kinda blew my mind…

96% of respondents reported an above average impact on improved focus.

94% reported an above average impact on improved productivity.

86% reported an above average impact on improved quality of their work.

94% reported an above average impact on their state of mind.

87% reported an above average impact on reducing stress.

Remember, take ’em with a grain of salt cause they’re literally trying to sell us a coworking membership.

But it turns out so am I. 😈 JK, sort of.

The Playhouse has always had a 24/7 coworking room since the doors opened almost two years ago!

Trish from Task Lemonade hosts a coworking session almost every week.

Rene Morozowich, a website developer is hosting monthly coworking meetups for the next three months to help people carve out time to work on their website portfolios if they want to.

I host a 3 hour coworking sprint on the 2nd Thursday of each month so people can pop in and out as they want to!

But with my burnout creeping in, I’m wanting to add even more for a while and see how it goes.

Could dance party coworking help me get in more steps and be more productive at work?

I wanna start doing dance party coworking where we do a movement break at the end of each 50 minute work cycle. Cameras on or off, cause I’m not trying to stress anyone out. šŸ˜…

But I did used to teach punk rock aerobics and it seems like a waste to not put that to good use. 😬

The Playhouse reopens on October 5th at our 2nd Annual Halloween Networking Party! šŸŽƒ

And I would argue that we’re better than those big generic platforms because the people who show up regularly in The Playhouse really get to know each other.

They’d have you on their podcast, include you in their bundle, hire you, collaborate with you, and stop and have lunch with you if they’re driving through your town.

All things that do happen inside.

Coworking is the easiest way to “network” without adding “networking” to your to-do list.

When you already feel like Kiff with TOO MANY THINGS TO MENTION it helps to be in community with people and still get sh*t done.

I always accidentally call Kiff – Kipp which makes my kids laugh so hard, and me feel SO OLD. šŸ˜…

Now watch the first 10 seconds of this Kipp, er… I mean KIFF music video for your new soundtrack when you’re overwhelmed.

And don’t forget to join the waitlist for The Playhouse – I have a plan to grow this thing to make it THE PLACE for you to meet cool people, collab connections, referral partners, and future clients – WHILE crushing your to-do list!

Join the waitlist and get the invite to the party and a special discount if you wanna join us this Fall.
