A lot of folks over-complicate business. My jaded side thinks it’s so they can sell you more courses and coaching.
But saying, “Hey! I have this thing that I think could help you. Do you want to buy it?” That’s all business is.
Ok, maybe that’s a little oversimplified. But I’m guessing you already have a lot going on in life, and the idea of a simpler business probably sounds pretty freaking good to you.
Here’s a simple framework for what we do in content playhouse.
Branding: When people see your website, your Instagram, or anything else you put out into the world are they drawn to it? Does it speak to them? Do they want to be part of your world?
There’s already a couple branding workshops in Content Playhouse, but I want to record something new, and I have Dana Herra lined up to come talk about Brand Voice too! That’s all happening in March!
Offers: Do you know what you’re selling or are you all over the place? If you don’t know what you’re selling, you can’t connect your content to those offers. So we have to dive into these asap to make sure you’re not just wasting time making content just to make content.
We want to lead your audience to spend money with you, so we have to nail down your offers. We’re diving into this in April, but we can Voxer as soon as you’re in if this feels like a more immediate need for you! 🎉
List Building: Building your email list with qualified leads isn’t as easy as everyone makes it sound. But one thing that definitely makes it easier is creating collaborative content. To grow your audience you have to get in front of more eyeballs, and the way you do that is working with other folks that have aligned audiences!
Members have been featured on podcasts, created summits, and collaborated with folks on YouTube because there’s already tons of resources on podcast guesting, hosting a summit or audio series, and collaborating with folks in your industry!
Reaching out to collaborate can be scary, especially if you’re neurodivergent or introverted. The Voxer support from me and the Slack and Meeting support from the community can be awesome for helping you deal with the emotions that can pop up from putting yourself out there.
And you can utilize me and the community to ask for introductions and make connections.
Differentiate: There’s probably a ton of people who do what you do, so how do we make sure you’re standing out and connecting with people authentically? For starters, being part of a group that’s non-judgemental, supportive, and not only embraces, but encourages you to show up as your whole-hearted self makes it way easier to show up and show off how different and amazing you truly are.
Secondly, you have me in your corner and I LOVE coming up with new and exciting ways to serve up content to audiences. My love of experimentation and easy to execute marketing ideas is going to help you figure out your sweet spot in your niche in no time.
And since we’re all a lil’ rebellious in here, you can skip around or jump forward if you feel confident in one area.
What are you struggling with in your business? Hit reply and let me know.
I love talking to humans, and we can talk honestly about if Content Playhouse could be helpful for you. I’ll be totally honest if I don’t think it’s a fit.
In the words of Gwen Stefani, Whatcha waitin’ for?
Oh man, remember that album with Hollaback Girl on it? I had gold sneakers from her label L.A.M.B. 😅
But for realz… what ARE you waiting for? This community is ready to change how you look at your business, your offers, and the content that you make to grow your audience.xo
