I feel like when people think of me in the landscape of Online Business I’ve branded myself a bit of a rebel.

I mean, I did a podcast series called Eff That: Breaking the Rules of Online Business. So that tracks.

But I joined the gym in August and my ADHD brain loves the little 30 minute express training area.

There’s a giant red light/green light up on the wall.

When the light is green you use the machine. 🟢

When it turns red, you have 30 seconds to wipe it down and move to the next station. 🔴

You’re supposed to do all 20 stations in order and it takes 30 minutes. ⏰

Y’ALL!!! People are just coming in this area and doing whatever they want! 😭😭😭

There’s old ladies sitting on machines and chatting.

There’s dude bros scrolling their phones between reps.

It’s TOTAL CHAOS!!! And THERE’S CLEARLY A SIGN!!! 👇😡

I end up stressing about whether I’ll say anything to people or just end up doing everything out of order, which does NOT make my brain happy.

Then the other day I realized – OMG. I’m NOT a rebel!!! Apparently I love rules!!? 😂😳🤯

While working out, I started thinking about how that could impact my reputation as an Online Business Rule Breaker if word ever got out.

I realized I love a good set of rules and a system for doing things. I love efficiency. Rules and systems help with that.

I just love INNOVATION. So maybe I’ve been saying breaking the rules when I really mean – coming up with a new BETTER way to do things.

Breaking the status quo and building something better. 💥💪

That’s what I’m putting the finishing touches on behind the scenes for you, me, and all the other freelancers, solopreneurs, and online business owners who are legit struggling right now.

I know some people are facing the real fact that they might have to go back to a soul sucking job.

Lots of us are confused because we can’t put our fingers on exactly what changed from last year to this year.

One of my biz buds described it as feeling stuck like Austin Powers trying to turn his cart around in that tunnel. #FunnyNotFunny
