How to Create More Authentic Marketing

Psst… before we dive in, I gotta tell you something!

I’m hosting a free 4-hour Quarterly Planning Sesh on September 11th! I’m giving you a peak behind the scenes of how I plan my entire quarter. Plus there’s a quick audio course that’ll give you permission to make less content before we start planning!

It’s an open house for The Content Playhouse too! So you can get a feel for what it could be like to have me helping you implement your plan all quarter too!

You can register here.

Now back to the blog… 😬

I feel like it’s no surprise that I’m a big fan of Real Housewives.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, my midwife asked me what I do for self care so I could do that to relax during early labor before we headed to the hospital

My answer: Watch Real Housewives. 😂

Some might say that’s not really self care, but hey…

If you don’t dabble in the Andy Cohen universe of rich b*tches, then you might not realize that this year they replaced the ENTIRE cast of The Real Housewives of New York.

The entire old cast is out, and there’s a new group that’s completely different.

The Real Housewives of New York started back in 2008.

Ramona Singer was in all 13 seasons before this new group of women were brought in.

What’s my point?

Bravo realized that New York City is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, and the past casts didn’t represent that at all. So, they switched things up, big time.

The new cast has a couple firsts in Housewives history, an openly gay housewife and the first Indian housewife. The franchise is just being more representative of the city it’s set in. It’s showing up more authentically.

And that’s exactly what this week’s episode of Big Fun Content is all about.

YOU showing up as your amazingly weird, beautiful, unique, awesome self.

If you’ve been hanging around me for a bit you know that I’m a huge fan of you doing this… especially if you’re a personal brand like a coach, consultant, or freelancer who will eventually have to hang out with your clients.

There’s no use putting up a front and building some fake persona to appeal to a fake ICA.

Embrace who you are, and it’s going to attract your perfect-fit clients and repel all the people you probably don’t want to work with anyways.

Be brave. You got this. 💪

And go listen to the pep talk.
