Stop Falling for Course Trap

An Instagram ad got me this week.

I know! I literally have a course all about how to stop buying courses and I fell for it. 🥴

HOOK, LINE, SINK-HER.

My kids were running around in the background, Matt was at work, and I was doom scrolling.

An ad for a course about making TikToks & Reels popped up and I thought, “I need to start making videos again, maybe this will have some secret tips for making them EVEN better when I start again!”

Back story: I said I’d take Q1 off of making videos. We’re now ⅓ of the way into Q3 and I haven’t done it. 😳

The guilt/shame about breaking that plan for myself probably played into this purchase. And if I’m being honest, I’m just like everyone else… looking for the quick, easy, magical fix that’ll make growing my business super easy.

But there were no secrets in there that I didn’t already know. I know what to do, I just have to MAKE THE EFFING VIDEOS!
